This game was designed with female celebrities in mind. If you would like to play as a male celebrity, you are welcome to do so. Any theme that would be geared solely towards women will then be given a male alternative (like if I had an "Evening Gown" round, then the men could wind up getting "Suits" as an alternative theme). Otherwise, male and female celebrities will be treated equally.
Judges will score the photos each round and a scoring/ranking hybrid. We will score photos on a scale from 1-10 with half points as an option. However, each judge cannot give the same score to more than one model in a round. This is to avoid a sea of scores that are roughly the same (that can happen in games with just scoring), while giving more weight to just how much better/worse a photo is than the ones around it (something that lacks in games with solely rankings).
If there is a tie in the score, whichever model scored higher with more judges will place higher. If for some reason, that does not break the tie (like in the event that a judge didn't score the round, leaving a possible 2-2 split with the judges), then as host, my scores will break the tie from there.
Every round will see at least a Bottom 2. The judges will vote to eliminate one model from the Bottom 2.
If the tiebreaker will determine who escapes the Bottom 2 for the round, then that tie will not be broken and all tied models will appear in the bottom.
During the finale, the judges will rescore the finalists' portfolios on a reduced scoring scale (to avoid large gaps in individual rounds) along with the gauntlet of photos that will be submitted that round (final round will have 3 shots). After a judge has finished with his/her final scoring, the model with the highest point total will be that judge's vote to win. The winner will be the model who has the most judges that vote for him/her to win. If more than one model is tied for the win in a judge's final scoring, then that judge will give a bonus point to the model s/he feels should win.
If there is a tie between models for judge's votes to win, then the model with the most total points between all judges will win. In the highly unlikely event that we are still tied, then as host, my rankings will ultimately break the tie.
All photos should be between 400x400 and 900x900. You can go outside these dimensions if you want to or need to, but it is highly suggested that you don't. You risk having points docked if your photo is too hard to see (by being too small) or if we have to scroll to see the whole shot.
